Joel sent me this link from work the other day. (I admit, I often wonder what they are doing over there that allows them time to find this sort of stuff.)
When I see these sorts of photos I generally have two initial thoughts:
1.) Aww . . . .
2.) How come we never think of stuff like that?
I like to think of Joel and I as the "creative-type", he being in industrial design and me in . . . insurance. Hmm, let me re-phrase: I like to think of Joel as being the "creative-type", but we never managed to think of anything like this when K was still willing to (or more accurately unable to do anything but) sit still. I guess there is always hope for baby #2. Apparently, I think I might have more free time if we ever create baby #2. I think that means that while I am not the "creative-type" I am a bit of the "delusional-type."

Those pictures are very cute...but I have a few questions:
ReplyDelete1. How do they happen to have all the perfect fabric for all of those scenes?
2. Does Joel speak French?
3. When is #2 going to make a debut??????? I think anyone who isn't pregnant within 4 months of giving birth is just plain lazy. HAHAHA! :)

You’re too funny. To answer your questions:
ReplyDelete1.)I am rather certain they own stock in the French version of Field’s fabrics and have a small entourage of eager to assist college art students at their beck and call. Which led me to wonder: How would I feel if I found out my babysitter was creating crazy art out of my kiddo while I was out on date night? Hmm . . . .
2.) No, Joel doesn't speak French. He can speak a little broken Italian and Spanish and is fluent in “stumbleupon.com,” which is apparently how he finds these random websites.
3.) I’ve been sworn to secrecy (yes, by myself) as to the specifics of our “plan” but suffice it to say it is on our, ahem, "to-do list." Having said that, I promise you that baby #2 will not be making his or her debut anytime in the next 9-10 months. Which is good, 'cause K's not doing too well with sharing right now!
