9 Months!!!!

Konrad passed his 9 month mark a couple of weeks ago. Quite the little man. Here are the highlights of our most recent well-visit:

Weight: 18 lbs. 4 oz.
Height: 28.5"
Head: 17.5"

Still 100% a daddy's boy with those measurements. In fact, our little buddy Kai, who is 6 months old, is only one pound less than Konrad and about 3/4" shorter. There goes the idea of handing down K's clothes to Kai when we're done. Maybe Kai can loan Konrad some of his stuff.

In case you're wondering, here is the latest from the developmental department:

1.) K plays peek-a-boo with his bib when he's eating lunch or dinner. This is also baby sign language for "I'm done eating, Mom."

2.) He is crawling, pulling himself up on anything that is remotely stationary and cruising on anything he can find.

3.) He loves the dog more than ever, especially when they play "fetch" together.

4.) He does say "mama" and "dada" but I am pretty certain he doesn't know what they mean. Well, other than "I want attention."

5.) He has his first tooth on the lower left side of his mouth. And, it's already crooked. Might need to start saving for braces already.

6.) He has graduated to "real" food including mac-n-cheese, pasta, whole milk and yogurt. The only one he doesn't care for is the whole milk.

7.) We're using the sippy cup for juice, water and whole milk. He's still visiting his bottle on Monday's at daycare.

I'm sure there's lots that I am forgetting, but those are the biggies. I can hardly believe in less than 3 months we will be at 1 year!!! Where did the time go?
