New Discovery

Joel took the day off on Wednesday in order to get the yard in some sort of order before the snow starts to fall. After the yard work was done we headed to Bed, Bath and Beyond so that I could purchase a food mill in order to make Konrad's baby food without scrapping up my knuckles or ruining our spoons. (The first few attempts have been interesting to say the least.)

While I was preparing to get out the door K and Joel were hanging out in the kitchen on the floor when K pulled himself up on one of the stools. Nothing new here, but when Konrad's hand hit a beam of sunlight coming through the window he stopped, mesmerized. Joel caught the moment well. K looks absolutely amazed at the way his hand glows in the light. It's so fun when we catch these moments when he learns something new about his world.
